What is your research area?

- I am a first-year doctoral student in tourism studies in the department of economics, geography, law and tourism at Mittuniversitetet. My interests include the impacts of climate change on tourism and tourism development in protected areas. In the coming years, I investigate how concepts of time and temporality can influence risk perceptions in a climate change and tourism context.

Tell us about your background

- I have a hospitality and tourism background, and have a bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management from the University of Brighton and a master's degree in tourism from the University of Aalborg.

Who are your supervisors?

- My thesis is supervised by Dimitri Ioannides and Tatiana Chekalina.
